The mission of Jay County Civic Theatre, Inc. is to cultivate creative and cultural experiences for the community. Jay County Civic Theatre, Inc. will promote the development and maintenance of Theatre Arts in Jay County, Indiana. We will at all times strive for artistic excellence through our community-based, independently-produced theatrical performances and educational programs.

The Board of Jay County Civic Theatre consists of eight individuals. Each person serves a three year term and can be re-elected twice. The maximum a person can serve is 12 years. (Some people are asked to serve out the remainder of another’s term and then can be elected on their own for three terms.) Terms are staggered so that the entire Board will never come up for re-election at the same time. Board Officers are elected annually. The people of Jay County elect the Board members. The Board members elect their Officers.

Jay County Civic Theatre performs many shows at a variety of venues. You can see a JCCT Production at such area venues as Arts Place, Inc. in Portland, IN, at the Jay County High School or even at The Courthouse of Jay County. Jay County Civic Theatre has also taken shows on the road, such as The JCCT Improv group performing for Jay County restaurants and local business.
